We are looking for a talented postdoctoral candidate to join our team at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (California, US) to work on computational methods for inverse problems in cryo-electron microscopy. The project focuses on developing mathematical techniques and computational algorithms to investigate protein conformational states from single-particle imaging and cellular tomography, including hybrid approaches that combine deep generative models with optimization, numerical linear algebra, and Fourier analysis.
